This exhibit provides evidence of the detrimental impact of distraction on the visitor’s driving performance by allowing him to experience it.
The exhibit allows visitor to practise the vital skill of identifying potential hazards through an engaging and memorable interaction. By revealing a vast array of potential hazards for road users, it will promote better awareness and alertness when visitor is on the road.
This interactive raises awareness of visibility issues and gives the visitor an increased appreciation of the difficulties to spot people in low light conditions.
Safer CarsThe exhibit helps the visitor to gain an in-depth knowledge of the safety features that are available in the market today. By understanding the importance of each safety features, it could help him to to take “defensive” actions when he is on the road.
The experiments involved in this exhibit allows visitors to explore for themselves that helmets protect heads, providing knowledge to reinforce safe behaviour.
This exhibit is an easy-to-use educational tool that allows the visitor to experience force up to five times his body weight, thus creating an increased awareness of the role of seatbelts in reducing crash injuries and therefore promoting its use.
Scale of Risks
This exhibit works on two levels: Firstly, it allows the visitor to explore and compare the relative risks of different scenarios and to discover which are more dangerous than others. Secondly, it presents them with some insight into their own abilities to accurately assess the risks of various scenarios.
Activity Kiosk for Programs
These are used to deliver mini science shows and other science activities for the public in a hands-on and face-to-face interaction. More programming details on the following slide.
